Once upon a time, a strapping group of Baylor students made their home at Imperial College for a summer. And I bet you can guess who was one of those students: a young Meggy B.

That summer, I fell in love with the UK. Saturdays at Covent Garden, nights in the West End, discovering we were Guinness wimps, and countless trips to Pizza Express and Pret a Manger. It was all magic. And now I get to call that magical place home again for a bit 🤩

That summer also just happened to be the time of the London Olympic games. Just a terrible time to be there, really. Nothing exciting happened at all!!

This tribute would be incomplete without a shout out to my BGB crew. Kyle, Mads, Tim, Molly, Trent, Margie - you're the best study abroad companions around. Reunion in London, anyone? I think I know someone you can come visit, at the least.

RIP Trev. Missed but never forgotten.
